Single-screw steamship.

Comments: In 1911 the company changed its name for The Liverpool Line to Booker Line, and the Imataka was the first ship to sail under the new name. She was torpedoed and sunk by UC47, 15m SSW from Daunt's rock on April  23, 1917, apparently without loss of life.

Note: Records of the sinking of the Titanic, and the subsequent rescue of the survivors, list an Able Seamen named Mr Philip Ryanes, aged 41, born in Boston USA who signed on articles onboard Cunard Lines Carpathia on 07/02/1912. The ships articles list his last ship as Booker Lines Imataka.
